Bitcoin Halving ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in connection with your use of our iOS and Apple TV application.No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information from users of the App. The App does not require user accounts, registrations, or any form of personal identification.Data Sources

- Coinbase API (https://api.coinbase.com) - Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrency spot prices
- CoinGecko API (https://api.coingecko.com) - Historical price data, all-time high information, and additional cryptocurrency market data
- Kraken API (https://api.kraken.com) - Backup cryptocurrency price data
- Binance API (https://api.binance.com) - Additional backup cryptocurrency price source
- CoinCap API (https://api.coincap.io) - Supplementary cryptocurrency market dataBlockchain Data
- Blockstream API (https://blockstream.info/api) - Bitcoin blockchain information including current block height, halving calculations, and network statisticsTraditional Financial Data
- Gold and Silver prices - Obtained from publicly available financial data APIsGovernment Data
- US National Debt - Official data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury's TreasuryDirect website (https://www.treasurydirect.gov)All data sources listed above are public APIs that do not require authentication or user identification. Local Storage Only
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Your widget preferences and settings
- Cryptocurrency display toggles (which coins you choose to show/hide)
- Cached price data for widget display
- User interface preferences (such as confetti on/off)
- Midnight price reference for daily change calculationsThis locally stored data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not transmitted to our servers or any third party
- Is stored in your device's local storage and shared App Group container (for widget functionality)
- Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the AppNo Cloud Storage of Personal Data
We do not store your preferences or any personal data on cloud storage or remote servers. The only server your device ever contacts is the optional Live Activity update server described in the next section.Live Activities and Push Notifications
Live Activities (optional, for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Monero) show a live price on your Lock Screen and keep updating even when the App is closed. To make that work, they are delivered through Apple's push system and a small update server we run, using an anonymous token from Apple so the price can reach your device. That token carries no personal information and cannot identify you, and nothing is sent at all unless you turn a Live Activity on.Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers an optional one-time purchase (Picture in Picture) and an optional monthly subscription (Live Activity access). All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment information, card details, or Apple Account. Apple handles billing, renewals, and cancellations. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in the Settings app, under your Apple Account, in Subscriptions.Network Activity
The App makes network requests solely to:
- Fetch current cryptocurrency prices from the public APIs listed above
- Retrieve Bitcoin blockchain data
- Obtain US national debt information
- Get gold and silver price data
- Deliver Live Activity price updates (only if you start a Live Activity), as described aboveExcept for the anonymous Live Activity push token, these requests:
- Are made directly from your device to the public API providers
- Do not include any personal identifiers
- Do not track your identity or device
- Are necessary for the App's core functionalityWidgets
The App includes home screen widgets and Lock Screen widgets. These features:
- Display data stored locally on your device
- Access shared data through iOS App Groups (a standard Apple framework)
- Do not transmit any data off your device
- Update based on system-determined intervals set by iOSApple Watch
The Apple Watch companion app:
- Operates independently on your Apple Watch
- Fetches data using the same public APIs
- Does not sync personal data between devices
- Stores preferences locally on the WatchThird-Party Services
While we use third-party APIs to obtain financial data, we do not:
- Share your personal information with these services (as we don't collect any)
- Use analytics services
- Implement advertising networks
- Include tracking pixels or beacons
- Use third-party authentication servicesChildren's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children or any users. The App is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages as it displays only public financial information.Changes to Data Sources
We may update or change our data sources to improve reliability and accuracy. Any changes to data sources will be reflected in updates to this Privacy Policy.Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to:

- Delete all locally stored App data by uninstalling the App

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. Since this App does not collect personal information, these rights do not apply as there is no personal data to exercise rights over.European Union Users
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this App does not process any personal data of EU residents.
